Bae publishes book chapter on Koreans studying English in the Philippines

Asst. Prof. Fellow Kyung Min Bae published a chapter entitled “Emotional Geographies of Koreans Studying English” as part of the section “Traversing the Political Economy of English Language Teaching” in “The Routledge Handbook of English Language Education in the Philippines.” The book is edited by Julius C. Martinez and Isabel Pefianco Martin and is published by Routledge International of the Taylor & Francis Group.

Tha handbook is described as being a comprehensive resource on English language education in the Philippines. It covers multiple topics including ideologies, multilingualism, identities, policies, methodologies, assessment, teacher education, curriculum, and educational contexts from Luzon to Mindanao from basoc to higher education and from formal to non-formal schooling.
