Asst. Prof. Fellow Kyung Min Bae is at Sofia, Bulgaria to present her paper entitled “Korean Translation Practice of Filipino Learners: In Search of Translation Methods and Techniques” at the conference for the 30 Years Korean Studies at Sofia University. The conference has the theme “Korea: One Peninsula, Multiple Dimensions (Connectivity, Challenges, Perspectives)” and is held from 12 to 14 October 2025.
The conference celebrates the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Korean Studies Department at Sofia University St. Kliment Ohridski. The program involves studies discussing Korean language, culture, history, and peoples across the world and stradling the peninsula as well as film screenings, worklshops, and book presentations on the Korean penninsula.
