Bae is a Discussant at a Korean Studies Colloquium

Asst. Prof. (Int’l) Kyung Min Bae, PhD was one of the discussants at KONECT: Korean Studies Colloquium this 31 March 2026. Her co-discussant was Mohammad Faizar Alonto, Special Assistant to the Mindanao State University (MSU) System President and a faculty member of their International Relations (IR) Department. The Colloquium was held at MSU – Main Campus, Marawi City, Lanao Del Sur, and had a theme of “K-ultural Shock: Hally Hits the World.” 

The colloquium was convened by the IR Department of MSU’s King Faisal Center for Islamic, Arabic and Asian Studies in partnership with the University of the Philippines Korea Research Center (UP KRC) and the Meranaw Cultural Heritage Center, Asst. Prof. (Int’l) Bae also presented a talk introducing the UP KRC at the event.
