In celebration of the International Mother Language Day 2024, the Department is partnering with the Embassy of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh in Manila through an event with the theme Multilingual education: An essential strategy for transforming education systems on the 21st of February, 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, at UP NISMED. The Keynote Speaker will be Prof. Dina Ocampo of the UP College of Education, with remarks from His Excellency F.M. Borhan Uddin, Bangladesh Ambassador to the Philippines. The Embassy has also invited Mr. Gustavo González, UN Resident Coordinator and Humanitarian Coordinator to give a short message at the event.
