Developing Literacy Materials for Language Revitalization

The UP Department of Linguistics will be hosting a virtual roundtable discussion on 14 May 2021 (Friday). It will focus on the development of literacy materials, including approaches and implementation, for language revitalization.
Joining us will be Dr. Keao NeSmith of the Department of Linguistics at the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa (UHM), Kelli McLeod, also from the Department of Linguistics of the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa (UHM), and Orlyn Joyce Esquivel, MA student of the Department of Linguistics, University of the Philippines Diliman. This virtual event will be moderated by Dr. Kritsana Canilao and Asst. Prof. Francisco Rosario, Jr.
