Documentary Screening of Ferdowsi’s Shahnameh by Abdolreza Rahmani Nasab (with English subtitles)

On the anniversary of the commemoration of Hakim Abolghasem Ferdowsi and the Preservation of the Persian Language, the Cultural Section of the Embassy of the I.R. Iran in Manila, in collaboration with the Department of Linguistics of the University of the Philippines, presents the documentary screening of Ferdowsi’s Shahnameh by Abdolreza Rahmani Nasab (with English subtitles).

Shahnameh, or “The Book of Kings,” is one of the “most important Iranian outstanding masterpieces in Persian culture and language, the writing of which took more than three decades. Being the longest poem in the world, Shahnameh played a very crucial role in preserving the Persian culture and language.”

The event is free and open to the public.
