The Summer Seminar in Linguistics (SSL) is a seminar-workshop that aims to equip participants with the necessary skills in the scientific study of language.

For this round of the SSL, the topic will be on language documentation, which aims to introduce the participants to the concepts, methods, and workflow in language documentation in the context of the Philippines. This includes the following modules:

02 Ang Pangangailangan para sa Pagtatasa sa Sigla ng Wika

03 Ano ang Pagdodokumenta ng Wika at Bakit ito Mahalaga

04 Etika sa Pagdodokumenta ng Wika

05 Pagkolekta ng datos

06 Pagsisinop ng datos

07 Balidasyon, Mobilisasyon, at Paghahanda sa Aplikasyong ng Grant

08 Ang Pagdodokumenta ng Wika sa Pilipinas

The SSL is open to interested participants who are currently involved in language documenting projects or are in the planning stage of their projects. Participation in the five-day workshop is free, but only limited slots are available.
