Dr. Aldrin Lee will be presenting a paper titled “A Typology of Translation Errors in the Korean-Tagalog Parallel Corpus” at the Korean-Foreign Language Parallel Corpus International Symposium on 08 December 2023 at the Korean Chamber of Commerce and Industry Conference Hall in Seoul, South Korea. The international symposium is hosted by the National Institute of the Korean Language (NIKL).
Dr. Lee is among the international group of scholars who will be presenting their studies, which are based on the construction of the Korean-Foreign Language Parallel Corpus. The symposium aims to explore the various applications of the parallel corpus and the potential to expand the project to include other low-resource languages.
