Chua teaches Filipino at the Jeonbuk National University Southeast Asian Language Summer Camp

Senior Lecturer Maria Concepcion Loren Chua is joining a two-week Southeast Asian Language Summer Camp to facilitate Filipino language sessions from 18 July to 29 July 2022. The said program is funded by Jeonbuk National University Institute for Southeast Asian Studies (JISEAS) and the Korea Institute for ASEAN Studies at Busan University of Foreign Studies (BUFS KISEAS). This is the first time that the Southeast Asian Language Summer Camp will include Filipino language among its course offerings.

Thirteen (13) students from various Korean universities and organizations have signed up to learn Filipino at the said summer camp this year. The classes will be held online and students will be given a certificate upon successful completion.
