Instr. JM De Pano and TA Patricia Asuncion have recently published their co-authored work, “Towards Continuous Community Collaboration: Insights from Bugkalot/Eģongot,” in the latest special issue of the Journal of Southeast Asian Linguistics Society (JSEALS).
The paper traces the history of documentation of the Bugkalot/Eģongot language, and presents fieldwork experiences, highlighting the value of collaboration between language communities in linguistics. De Pano and Asuncion presented this work during the 34th Annual Meeting of the Southeast Asian Linguistics Society (SEALS 34) at Bali, Indonesia last June 2025.
