
Instructor and MA candidate JM De Pano is one of the recipients of the Thesis and Dissertation Grants from the Office of the Chancellor of the University of the Philippines Diliman, through the Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research and Development. It aims “to assist in the completion of MA/MS thesis or doctoral dissertation of UP Diliman faculty and REPS that will lead to a graduate degree. The grant supports thesis and dissertation work in any academic discipline.”
De Pano’s thesis topic is “Verb Subcategorization in Bugkalot/EgĖongot,” under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Maria Kristina S. Gallego, PhD.
Faculty members, teaching associates/fellows, and staff of UP Diliman whose “thesis or dissertation proposal [have] been approved” are eligible to apply for the grant. More information may be read at the OVCRD’s website.
