Associate Professor Jem R. Javier has been appointed as the College Secretary of the College of Social Sciences and Philosophy (CSSP) effective 01 February 2024.
During his term, Dr. Javier will oversee the keeping and handling of records, as well as the “scholastic evaluation of students at the college level” (according to the University of the Philippines Code). The CSSP Office of the College Secretary also handles registration matters such as academic residence, admissions and graduation applications.
Dr. Javier formerly served as the coordinator of the Graduate Program Office from 2023 to 2024 and is actively producing episodes of the “Tuko Chronicles” podcast of the Folklore Studies Program.
