MA student Friedrich A. Aquino has been selected by the Philippine Social Science Council (PSSC) as one of the recipients of the Research Award Program (RAP). The award is for his ongoing thesis, “Navigating the Mountains and the Coast: An Ecological and Typological Description of Paranan in Palanan, Isabela,” under the supervision of Assoc. Prof. Maria Kristina Gallego, PhD.
The program, which was established in 1972, aims to “assist graduate students in the social sciences to complete their ongoing thesis or dissertation requirements and obtain their Master’s or Ph.D. degrees.” More details may be found in the official announcement of PSSC.
