Kurusu is a moderator at immersive technologies symposium

Sr. Lec. Kenichiro Kurusu was a moderator for the session entitled “Collaborative and Sustainable Immersive Institutional Ecosystems” at the World Immersive Learning Labs Symposium (WILLS) 2026. The symposium was hosted by the University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU). It was held at their headquarters in Los Baños, Laguna from 4-6 March 2026.

WILLS 2026 serves as a venue for discussion of immersive technologies and their contribution to society, education, and industry. Some of the topics discussed included Designing, Building, and Running Immersive Learning Laboratories, Immersive Learning Theories and Pedagogies, Augmented, Virtual, and Mixed Reality in Education, Gamification and Game-based Learning Environments, Immersive Technologies in Professional Training, Storytelling and Narrative Design in Immersive Learning, Interaction and Engagement in Virtual Learning Environments, Ethical Considerations in Immersive Learning, Learning Analytics and Assessment Methods Future Trends in Immersive Learning Technologies, and Case Studies and Best Practices.
