Kurusu presents at the 39th Meeting of the Phonetic Society of Japan

Last 20-21 September 2025, Lecturer Kenichiro Kurusu presented his paper entitled “Vowel Intrusion between Plosive-Liquid Consonant Clusters in Tagalog” at the 39th General Meeting of the Phonetic Society of Japan. The meeting was held at the Rokkodai 2nd Campus, Kobe University in Kobe, Japan.

The conference was organized by Shin’ichi Tanaka of Kobe University and is co-hosted by the Graduate School of Humanities of Kobe University. The general meetings of the Phonetic Society of Japan is held every year. The Phonetic Society of Japan is the oldest academic society in Japan that focuses on the study of languages.
