The “Danas/Ranas: COVID-19 Special Literary Issue” of Diliman Review, which was edited by Assoc. Prof. Aldrin Lee, has been published at the journal’s UPDJOL page. In the editor’s notes, Lee writes that “the personal essays and experiential narratives vividly capture the nuances of life and living in our country during the pandemic, from the subtle storytelling of aspects of daily life constrained by the lockdown to the complex challenges of isolation, of being isolated, and more so—of the fear of either being lost or of losing someone during those troubled times.”
Vol. 64 No. 2 also features several contributions from the Department’s postgraduate students and alumna: PhD student Mark Angeles’ two entries of “On Ambag” and “Saksi Ko ang Langit: Tatlong Dagli/Dadaanin,” UPLB assistant professor Diane Manzano’s “Mga Tala ng Pagsasalin sa Panahon ng Pandemya,” and DFPP assistant professor April Perez’s “Binago Tayo ng 2020.”
