BA Ling alum Juliane Margaret Tamina (Batch 2022) has started training as one of the participants of Korea Foundation’s Intensive Korean Language Program for Next Generation Educators. This program was organized by the Korea Foundation together with Jeju National University and Jeju Free International City Development Center as part of the South Korea’s New Southern and New Northern foreign policies.
The program aims to provide quality KFL teacher education for pre- and in-service KFL educators in Eurasian countries who can develop KFL programs to teach more students in the said region.
The 300-hour curriculum includes training in KFL pedagogy, as well as special lectures on Korean history, society and culture. Trainees will also undergo Korean cultural immersion and go on excursions to various sites around Jeju Island.
The program runs from 31 August to 28 November 2022.
Congratulations, Juliane! 화이팅!
