Vincent Santiago conducts phonetics seminar at MSU-Marawi

Department instructor and MA Candidate Vincent Christopher Santiago conducted a seminar-workshop on 25 April 2023 at the Mindanao State University Main Campus, where he taught participants the foundations of doing phonetic analysis, transcribing using the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA), and applying techniques in acoustic phonetics, particularly in analyzing Meranaw, Maguindanaon, and Binisaya languages.

The seminar-workshop was organized by the MSU Main Departamento ng Filipino at Iba Pang Wika at the Mindanao State University and their Samahan ng Mag-aaral sa Filipino as part of their Bandingan Serye ng mga Seminar-Worksyap sa Linggwistika at Literatura.
