Congratulations to our 24 BA Ling students and our two PhD Ling graduates, Dr. Jem R. Javier and Dr. Gina Bernaldez-Araojo, who were all conferred their respective degrees today, 30 July 2023, at the University Amphitheater! We also congratulate our alumnus, Mark Edel V. Diaz (BA Ling, 2013), who completed his master’s degree in Philippine Studies at the UP Asian Center.
Among this year’s graduates, nine were awarded summa cum laude, four magna cum laude, and four cum laude. BA Ling graduate Brian Salvador Baran also delivered the speech on behalf the graduating batch of CSSP students at the College of Social Sciences and Philosophy recognition ceremony, held yesterday, 29 July 2023, at the University Theater.
