Borrowing Equipment

Currently-enrolled Linguistics students and the Department’s faculty and staff members may request to borrow digital audio recorders, laptops, lavalier microphones, speakers, digital cameras, and projectors for research or classroom use.

All loans are free; however, users are responsible for returning the items in their original proper and working condition. The borrower will be asked to replace missing or damaged equipment, or may be charged a fair replacement value.

Requests to borrow equipment must be sent at least 24 hours in advance. To request for equipment, send an email to the Department and indicate for what purpose or event the equipment will be used, the period of time you need the equipment for, and the location/s where you will be using the equipment.
