UPWPL
The UP Working Papers in Linguistics (UPWPL) is an open access publication featuring preliminary research and reports on research in progress done by scholars affiliated with the University of the Philippines Diliman Department of Linguistics. It aims to be an outlet for quickly and broadly disseminating the latest linguistics research produced at the Department in a properly citable format. By doing so, it aims to stimulate discussion that can hopefully lead to the increase of locally contextualized studies on various topics in linguistics and elicit feedback that could help improve the working papers published in this journal. The UPWPL also features think pieces and reviews to provide students of the Department a platform where they can share their informed opinions, observations, and recommendations on language-related issues.
As a working papers journal, papers in this series only undergo editorial review rather than a rigorous peer review. Publication in this series also does not preclude later publication of revised versions of the papers in other journals. The copyright of all the papers published in this series remains with their respective authors.
Articles in the UPWPL are distributed under the terms and conditions of the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial 4.0 International License (CC BY-NC 4.0). Proper attribution must be made when citing any part of the works included in this publication.
